Supporters of La Liga champions Barcelona have on Thursday evening moved to lavish collective praise on a member of the club’s attacking ranks.
The player in question? Marcus Rashford.
Frontman Rashford was for his part afforded his latest start tonight, as Barcelona made the trip to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere for a La Liga meeting with newly-promoted Real Oviedo.
And though Hansi Flick’s troops currently trail by a goal to nil owing to a moment of madness on the part of Joan García, Barca’s fellow summer signing has continued to impress.
A constant threat on both wings, Rashford has produced a number of stellar dribbles and shots on goal alike.
The Englishman, looking more comfortable by the game, has looked the visitors’ likeliest source of inspiration during the first-half.
And as alluded to above, the significance of as much has not been at all lost on those of a Blaugrana persuasion.
