Eduardo Camavinga admits he could retire at Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has hinted that he could potentially end his career at his current club.

The Frenchman joined Madrid from Rennes in the summer of 2021 for €31m and has now established himself as a regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Camavinga was one of the most highly-rated teenagers in the French League and therefore Los Blancos had to beat the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea to secure his signature.

This season, the 21-year-old has played in 31 matches, grabbing two assists during this period.

Although he is known for his exceptional passing, Camavinga has operated at left-back in numerous high-profile clashes. His brilliant work ethic allows him to invert into central positions to create a numerical advantage in midfield, but also track back into the left-back position where he will deal with the opposition winger during transitions.

Camavinga’s current deal with Madrid commits him to the club until June 2029. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the France international has spoke of his desire to retire at this prestigious club.

He said: “Real Madrid is the dream of the whole world as a club. Can I retire here at Real? Yes, of course.”
