Eden Hazard will not undergo surgery for latest setback

Real Madrid’s injury-plagued forward Eden Hazard will not undergo surgery for his latest injury problems, according to Gol Television.

After discussing the matter with the player, the LaLiga club have decided that he should follow a conservative course of treatment as doctors are still in the dark about the source of his injury problems, report AS.

Los Blancos have been in regular contact with the Belgian FA, and the latter have requested that they send over a physiotherapist to Madrid to help the player with his recovery from several weeks on the sidelines.

Gol say that Madrid have contacted Belgian boss Roberto Martínez to explain that for now, Hazard will not be operated on. First, they will see how he responds to the treatment and how he evolves with a course of physiotherapy ahead of Real Madrid’s last few weeks of the season and the European Championships this summer.
