An early insight into the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has come to the fore late this evening.
As much comes after the 21-year-old set pulses racing across the fanbase of the Spanish giants, a short time ago.
After featuring from the bench in France’s meeting with Germany over the weekend, Camavinga was on Tuesday afforded a starting berth, in his country’s clash with Chile.
As the interval approached, however, the midfielder pulled up in the middle of the park, before going to ground in evident discomfort.
After being tended to by Les Bleus’ medical team, it was quickly decided that Camavinga was in no condition to continue, hauled off by boss Didier Deschamps as a result.
And, as alluded to above, an early insight into the injury suffered by the former Rennes talent has since come to the fore online.
As per a report from the reliable Fabrice Hawkins of French outlet RMC Sport, Camavinga has suffered a sprain in his left ankle.
Compatriot Jonathan Clauss, meanwhile, has picked up a left thigh problem.
The extent of Camavinga’s sprain is as of yet unclear, but the midfield starlet certainly appears to be facing up to a spell on the sidelines.
