As per a report from Diario AS, owing to the fact that they have not yet aligned with the 1:1 financial rule:
‘Barcelona won’t be able to count 100% of his €14 million salary toward fair play, but they can release 60%, or around €8.4 million.’
This means that, across the summer to date, Deco and co. are understood to have cleared around €30m from the wage bill at the Camp Nou.
