The details of the proposal tabled by La Liga champions Barcelona for Al Ahly sensation Hamza Abdelkarim have surfaced online.
This comes amid fresh confirmation of the Blaugrana pushing hard for the signature of the young frontman.
The understanding is that the Camp Nou brass want to bring Abdelkarim to Spain following the turn of the year, as part of a loan deal.
The info comes courtesy of Egyptian outlet KoralPlusEG, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, who have revealed:
‘The idea is to bring him in immediately, starting in January when he turns 18. The offer would be a six-month free loan plus a €4 million option to buy (1 million fixed plus performance bonuses).’
Abdelkarim, for those not familiar with his name, is a 17-year-old attacker, who chiefly lines out at centre-forward, but is also capable of taking to the pitch from the right wing.
The starlet has long been turning heads in his home country of Egypt, owing to his exploits on both the international stage, and at club level.
Despite his tender years, Abdelkarim has already established himself in the first-team setup at Al Ahly.
Whilst lining out for Egypt’s U17s, meanwhile, the frontman has racked up a head-turning 12 goals in 17 appearances to date.
