Deportivo de La Coruña star Yeremay Hernández has this week admitted that he considers a potential move to one of Spanish football’s top two clubs a personal ‘dream’.
This comes amid long-standing transfer links between the talented attacker and the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Yeremay is for his part fresh off being named Player of the Season for his efforts in Spain’s 2nd tier in 2024/25.
The widespread opinion, though, is that the time has come for the 22-year-old to make the leap to a top-flight outfit.
Yeremay, who has notched six direct goal contributions for Deportivo already this term, was therefore drawn on as much during an interview with El Larguero this week.
Specifically, the winger was asked about the prospect of joining one of Barcelona, or Real Madrid.
And Yeremay, in quotes cited by Mundo Deportivo, went on to admit:
“I really like the Spanish league, our league. I like the big teams, Barça and Madrid, they’re top teams and I’d love to, it would be a dream to one day be able to play for one of those two teams. But for now, my dream is to play for Depor.”
