Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Saturday moved to lavish praise on a member of the club’s summer recruitment drive.
The player in question? Franco Mastantuono.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, on the domestic front.
After opening their Champions League campaign with a victory over Marseille in midweek, Los Blancos have shifted focus back towards La Liga, in a meeting with Espanyol.
And as things stand late in the action in Spain’s capital, the evening’s hosts find themselves headed towards another three points.
As much comes owing to a pair of stunning strikes from range, first on the part of Éder Militão, and then Kylian Mbappé.
And yet, as alluded to above, across the clash to date, it has been another member of Xabi Alonso’s squad who has been singled out for perhaps more adulation than any other.
Afforded his latest starting berth against Espanyol, youngster Franco Mastantuono took full advantage, courtesy of another fine performance.
Already looking completely at ease at one of world football’s biggest clubs, the Argentine was a consistent source of excellence on the ball for Real Madrid on Saturday.
And such endeavours have culminated in an outpouring of praise online, with the Blancos faithful adamant that their side have signed another star in the making.
