Barcelona sporting director Deco early this week sat down for a meeting with the representative of one of the club’s summer signings.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Roony Bardghji as the player in question.
Youngster Bardghji is for his part fresh off taking to the pitch for the latest occasion in Barcelona colours this past weekend.
En route to a 2-1 downing of Girona, the Swede was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half.
And once again, Bardghji showcased flashes of his undoubted potential in the final third.
Still just 19 years of age, the winger has now been afforded a none-too-shabby five appearances in La Liga this season, evidence of the faith of Hansi Flick in Bardghji’s talents.
During a meeting between the player’s agent and Barca chief Deco at the Ciutat Esportiva this week, the mood, in turn, was a positive one.
As per a report from Sport:
‘The feeling conveyed by the sporting management is that the plan is on the right track. At the club they value the seriousness of the footballer on a day-to-day basis and the way he is responding when it is his turn to participate.’
