Barcelona sporting director Deco on Tuesday sat down for a meeting with the agent of Blaugrana star Dani Olmo.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who confirm that the get together came chiefly to talk through the midfielder’s fitness problems, and potential avenues forward.
Olmo is of course condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines at present.
Amid what has been an injury-plagued stint in the colours of Barcelona to date, the Spanish international earlier this month suffered a calf problem.
He has missed the Catalan club’s last three fixtures in all competitions as a result.
During a routine sit down between Deco and agent Andy Bara on Tuesday, the subject of Olmo’s fitness situation was therefore a prominent talking point.
According to Barca insider Carlos Monfort of Sport, the possibility of the former RB Leipzig man being put through an additional round of medical tests over the weeks ahead has not been ruled out.
As much would come with a view to ‘developing a personalized preventive plan’ for the future.
