The squad number afforded to new Real Madrid signing Dean Huijsen has on Tuesday been confirmed.
This comes after the 20-year-old was finally presented as the latest addition to Xabi Alonso’s squad.
Real Madrid of course announced a deal for defender Huijsen almost a month ago now, after agreeing to pay the release clause included in the youngster’s contract at Bournemouth.
The former Juventus talent had since finished out the 2024/25 campaign with the Cherries, before linking up with the Spanish national team for the Nations League.
His official unveiling as a Blancos player was therefore delayed, until today.
On Tuesday morning, though, those of a Real Madrid persuasion were at last afforded the chance to see Huijsen sporting the club’s colours.
Not only that, but they were made aware of his jersey number, too.
