Daniel Wass will join Atlético Madrid from Valencia in the coming days, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.
The fee will be less than €2 million for the versatile Danish international, who will join Los Colchoneros as a replacement for Kieran Trippier.
Wass’ contract with Los Che expires this June and he didn’t want to sign a new deal with the La Liga outfit. Valencia manager José Bordalás, who doesn’t have much of a budget to work with at Mestalla, will now look to find his own replacement for Wass.
