The latest social media activity on the part of Kylian Mbappé has turned heads across the world of football late on Monday.
As much, of course, comes fresh off the 25-year-old’s long-touted move to Spain with Real Madrid at long last being made official.
After a transfer saga spanning several years, Real, this evening, released a statement, confirming that Mbappé has put pen to paper on terms with the club through the summer of 2029.
The Frenchman himself has long made clear that taking his talents to Madrid was a career-long ambition, with as much having been reiterated in Mbappé’s first social media posts on the back of his signing being announced.
Taking to his respective X and Instagram platforms, the prolific frontman explained:
“A dream come true. So happy and proud to be part of my dream club. It’s impossible to explain how happy I am right now. I can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your support. HALA MADRID!”
Message aside, though, one particular photo included in Mbappé’s post has since garnered widespread chatter in Spain’s capital.
This comes with the former Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain man having unveiled a picture of himself as a boy, draped in Real Madrid colours, accompanied by none other than Blancos legend and personal idol Cristiano Ronaldo:
