Could Vinícius Jr. be punished by Real Madrid for El Clásico outburst?

An insight into the plans of those in a position of power at Real Madrid to deal with the latest example of poor behaviour on the part of Vinícius Jr. has on Tuesday come to the fore.

This comes amid confirmation that Los Blancos, despite claims to the contrary, do not plan to punish their attacking star.

Wide-man Vinícius of course grabbed the headlines across all of Spain once more this past weekend.

This came upon the Brazilian, after seeing his number flash across the 4th official’s board for a substitution during El Clásico, completely losing his cool.

Making his way to the touchline, Vinícius was spotted shouting and gesturing angrily in the direction of manager Xabi Alonso.

From here, the 25-year-old made his way straight down the tunnel, continuing to vent as he did so.

Far from the first occasion on which ‘Viní’ has allowed his emotions to get the better of him since the arrival of Xabi Alonso, it had in turn been suggested that the winger was in for an upcoming sanction.

This, however, will in fact not be the case.

As per a report from The Athletic, club sources have already confirmed that ‘no action will be taken’ against the South American.
