It is not out of the question that Barcelona star Lamine Yamal could be forced under the knife in the near future.
This would come in a bid to solve the ongoing problems the youngster is experiencing with pubalgia.
Wide-man Lamine has of course endured a difficult last couple of months on and off the pitch alike.
Owing to an issue in his groin, the Spanish international has been forced into a pair of spells on the sidelines.
Not only that, but when taking to the grass, Lamine has looked some way off his brilliant best, evidently not comfortable in his movements.
So, in the case of his pubalgia persisting, could the youngster undergo surgery?
Though as much is not in the immediate plans of either club or player, taking such a route has also has not been ruled out.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the plan is for Lamine to continue with conservative medical treatment for the weeks ahead.
Should his pain persist through November and beyond, the possibility of a minor procedure will then be put on the table by the Barcelona medical team.
