Celta Vigo star admits he ‘looks up to’ surprise Barcelona player

Celta Vigo star Ferran Jutglà has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for Barcelona frontman Ferran Torres.

This comes ahead of the showdown between two of his former clubs in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Barcelona are of course primed to turn focus back towards matters on the continent this evening, in a meeting with Belgian outfit Club Brugge.

The aforementioned Jutglà, meanwhile, spent time on the books of both clubs, before ultimately linking up with Celta Vigo over the summer.

After first watching Barca’s latest endeavours later today, the 26-year-old will then be tasked with facing Hansi Flick’s troops in a La Liga clash this weekend.

In the buildup to the fixture, he therefore sat down for an interview with Tot Costa.

And during as much, Jutglà opened up on why he feels that current Blaugrana attacker Ferran Torres is considered an ‘example’ for players across Spain:

“I really admire Ferran Torres. He’s a great example for many players for how he overcame criticism and reached a high level. I look up to him a lot.”
