The board at Celta Vigo have tied up a contract agreement with a member of the midfield ranks at La Liga rivals Elche.
This comes amid the understanding that Aleix Febas is all set to take his talents to Balaídos for the 2026/27 campaign.
Midfielder Febas for his part played a leading role for Elche this past season, en route to the Franjiverdes staving off relegation to the 2nd tier of Spanish football.
All told, the 30-year-old featured in all but two of the club’s league outings, chipping in with a pair of goals and a pair of assists along the way.
And as alluded to above, Febas’ impressive exploits evidently did not go unnoticed across the La Liga landscape, in particular in Galicia…
As per a report from market insider Matteo Moretto:
‘Celta Vigo are on the verge of sealing the signing of Aleix Febas, as Victor López has reported. A verbal agreement already exists between the parties.’
