Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that his grandchildren have taken a particular shine to two members of his Blancos squad.
Real, of course, are fresh off bringing a close to what marked another historic campaign.
After long wrapping up the La Liga title, the capital giants made the trip to Wembley Stadium on Saturday, for a Champions League final showdown with Borussia Dortmund.
And, when all was said and done, a 2-0 triumph saw the Spanish giants make it a domestic and European double.
On Sunday, Real’s star-studded squad, in turn, made its way back to Madrid, to celebrate their latest achievement in front of the club’s adoring fanbase.
In the midst of the festivities, the aforementioned Carlo Ancelotti, meanwhile, was pulled in for an interview.
And it was during precisely as much that the Italian, as alluded to above, went on to name one departing and one up-and-coming member of his squad as firm favourites of his young grandchildren:
“My grandchildren are Arda Güler and Toni Kroos fans!”
