The brother of Barcelona star Ronald Araújo has on Tuesday made public his frustration with the recent actions of Uruguay national team boss Marcelo Bielsa.
This comes owing to a fitness setback suffered by the Blaugrana defender.
Uruguay are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for the fast-approaching World Cup.
The Celeste’s stars have spent recent days being put through their paces in increasingly demanding training sessions, ahead of kicking their tournament into gear against Saudi Arabia early next week.
During a drill this past weekend, however, the aforementioned Araújo picked up a muscular problem, forcing him out of the session.
The stopper is in turn considered a major doubt to play his part against Saudi Arabia.
And evidently of the opinion that Marcelo Bielsa is to blame for as much is Araújo’s brother, Maikel.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, Maikel Araújo reposted a statement regarding his sibling’s injury, accompanied by the caption:
‘Thanks for injuring players just days before the World Cup.’
