A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has made his way onto the transfer radar of Brighton & Hove Albion.
That’s according to Marca, citing the Daily Mail, who point to Gonzalo García as the player in question.
Youngster Gonzalo has of course long been tipped for an upcoming departure from Spain’s capital.
Struggling for game-time since being afforded a permanent first-team spot by Real Madrid over the summer, the 21-year-old is understood to be taking into consideration a loan exit, in search of more regular minutes.
And as alluded to above, should such a route be given the green light by those behind the scenes at the Bernabéu, then one suitor primed to pounce come in the form of Brighton.
As per Marca, the Seagulls are one of several Premier League clubs who would be ready to bring Gonzalo in on a temporary basis this winter.
With fellow striker Endrick also expected to depart on loan, however, it is entirely possible that Xabi Alonso and co. will put up a wall around Gonzalo.
