In an interview with Bild, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke spoke about the future of Erling Haaland.
“No matter where I go, everyone tells me about Haaland. The only thing I know for sure is Real Madrid are very interested in him. Now, I could name 25 other teams as well, that’s a fact. He might leave, but he might also stay.
“A few days ago I had a good conversation with Mino Raiola [Haaland’s agent]. It was a friendly chat. We will surely have another conversation in the coming weeks. The focus is on Haaland’s overall development. As with [Robert] Lewandowski, I would also like to be proud of Erling at some point if he eventually wins the Champions League. Personally, I think he could do with staying in the Bundesliga a bit longer. Raiola is such a shrewd lad that he already knows what he’s doing.”
Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG, Juventus and Madrid have all been linked with the Norwegian striker.
