Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco do not intend to make Ansu Fati’s arrival from Barcelona permanent next year.
This comes amid the understanding that those in a position of power at the Stade Louis II have already made a definitive call on the attacker’s future.
Wide-man Ansu of course made the move to Monaco this past summer, as part of a season-long loan deal from Barcelona.
And though the Spaniard has since gone on to showcase flashes of his remaining quality, to the tune of a solid haul of six goals, Ansu has struggled to lock down a regular starting berth.
Across the Ligue 1 campaign to date, the 23-year-old has been afforded just four starts.
And such struggles, it would appear, have already proven enough to rule out a long-term future for Ansu in the principality.
