The current top scorer in La Liga champions Barcelona’s squad this season has featured from the off in only five of the club’s fixtures.
The player in question? Fermín López.
Midfielder Fermín is for his part of course in the thick of a rich vein of form at present.
After netting Barcelona’s only goal en route to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid over the weekend, the 22-year-old took his tally to four goals in his last two appearances.
This comes after a hat-trick against Olympiacos in the Champions League last week.
Added to a brace in a 6-0 drubbing of Valencia last month, and Fermín has established himself as Barca’s top scorer with six goals in 2025/26.
Making this achievement even more impressive is the fact that the Spanish international has done so whilst featuring from the off in just five of the Blaugrana’s 13 fixtures in all competitions.
