An insight into the attacking setup expected to be opted for by Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for the club’s opening fixture of the campaign has been forthcoming online.
Barca are of course primed to kick their endeavours for 2024/25 into gear later tonight.
As part of the opening round of La Liga fixtures, the Blaugrana will make the trip to Mestalla, for a meeting with Valencia.
In the buildup to the clash, much of the chatter has centered on the XI set to be depended upon by the aforementioned Hansi Flick, in his very first competitive outing in the Barcelona dugout.
Doubts remain when it comes to the German’s plans both at centre-back and in the middle of the park, but Flick’s thoughts for the attacking third appear to be all but set in stone.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who assure that Barca’s front-three to face Valencia has already been decided upon:
‘Lewandowski will be the team’s ‘9’ and he will be accompanied by Lamine, the team’s most unbalanced player, and Raphinha, who will play as a false left winger.’
