Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Sunday secured for himself a place in an altogether exclusive club across Europe’s leading leagues.
This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.
And after a rare league defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad last weekend, Hansi Flick’s troops currently find themselves firmly on track for a return to winning ways.
Late in proceedings at the Spotify Camp Nou, the evening’s hosts lead Oviedo by three goals to nil.
Dani Olmo was responsible for opening the scoring, followed by further goals on the part of Raphinha and the aforementioned Lamine Yamal.
And the latter’s strike has proven to be a significant one from an individual standpoint…
As revealed by StatMuse, after directing a wonderful volleyed effort into the far corner of the Real Oviedo net on Sunday, youngster Lamine joined Bayern Munich pair Michael Olise and Luis Díaz as one of only three players with 8+ goals and 8+ assists in Europe’s top-5 leagues in 2025/26.
