Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Tuesday taken hold of a new Champions League record.
This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Barcelona are of course fresh off securing a much-needed return to winning ways on the continent, courtesy of a 2-1 downing of Bundesliga outfit Eintracht.
Wide-man Lamine for his part feature from the off in the fixture, from his customary berth on the right flank.
And en route to the Blaugrana’s comeback, the 18-year-old played a starring role, laying on the assist for the game’s winner during the 2nd-half.
And as alluded to above, in the process, Lamine continued to etch his name into the history book of European football.
As revealed by Bleacher Report, the young winger has overtaken Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé as the player with the most-ever Champions League goal involvements whilst aged 18 or younger (14).
