Barcelona youngster ‘not satisfied’ with role at the club, as Bundesliga interest mounts

An up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was left unhappy with the extent of his participation this past season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Noah Darvich as the player in question.

Darvich, for those not familiar with his name, is a versatile 18-year-old midfielder, who generally operates in an advanced role through the middle.

The German is currently plying his trade with Barca Atlètic, for whom he featured on 25 occasions in league play this season.

Following the January departure of Unai Hernández for Saudi Arabia, Darvich was drafted into Barcelona’s Champions League squad for the 2nd half of the term, a regular in first-team training over recent months as a result.

The youngster, though, was not afforded a single appearance at senior level.

With his 25 appearances at reserve level having featured just eight starts, it should in turn not come as a major surprise to hear that Darvich was left feeling somewhat unfulfilled in 2024/25.

As per a report from Sport:

‘The boy is not satisfied with the role he had this past season and is not willing to go through the same next season.’

For this reason, Darvich could seek out a Barca exit this summer, amid mounting interest in his signature from the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart, for one, are understood to have gone as far as to send a contract proposal the way of the German youth international.
