A head-turning statistic, highlighting just how badly Barcelona struggled in the club’s latest outing, has come to the fore online.
This of course comes fresh off an evening to forget for the Blaugrana on Sunday.
Barcelona marked their return to action yesterday evening, making the trip to Andalusia for a La Liga meeting with Sevilla.
Hansi Flick’s troops entered the fixture with sights on a bounce-back result, after a first defeat of the term at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.
When all was said and done, however, Barca’s woes only continued.
This came by way of an alarming 4-1 drubbing at The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The Catalans’ general level drew widespread criticism, with their usual intensity and offensive flow having been nowhere to be seen.
And as alluded to above, one statistic has since come to the fore online, perfectly summing up these woes.
As revealed by journalist Albert Blaya Sensat:
‘Against Sevilla, Barça pressed 62 times, the worst figure of the entire Hansi Flick era. A devastating statistic.’
