Barcelona wait for Juventus to agree personal terms with Memphis Depay

As broken by Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are waiting for Juventus and Memphis Depay to arrive at an agreement regarding the personal terms of a contract.

It is believed that Barcelona and Depay have already reached a deal yesterday that could see the player terminate his contract with the Blaugrana. However, it will not be activated until Juventus and the Dutchman arrive at an agreement over personal terms.

Depay is trying to negotiate a two-year contract with the Italian side and the two parties are expected to arrive at an agreement this coming week.

Barcelona are still struggling to register all their players due to financial regulations imposed by La Liga. The offloading of the 28-year-old could free up the budget that could allow Barça to register Jules Koundé.

The number 9 jersey has already been handed over to Robert Lewandowski.

It will be interesting to see whether Barcelona would be willing to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if they bid farewell to Depay. The Gabonese international has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
