Barcelona trio could start together for the first time this season vs Alavés

La Liga champions Barcelona could be boosted by the return to prominence of the club’s beloved first-choice front-three in their upcoming clash with Deportivo Alavés.

This comes amid confirmation that Hansi Flick is giving consideration to fielding all of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski from the off this weekend.

The trio of Lamine, Raphinha and Lewandowski of course proved nothing short of pivotal in Barcelona romping to a domestic treble last season.

Combining to devastating effect in the final third, the Blaugrana attackers proved themselves a near-unstoppable force when firing on all cylinders.

And yet, as we inch towards December in the 2025/26 campaign, the three have not managed to reconnect from the start in a single match this time round.

Owing to respective injury woes, Barca’s deadly front three have all missed chunks of the term to date.

Supporters of the Catalans will in turn no doubt be excited by the latest word stemming from Hansi Flick’s squad this week.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘Everything suggests that the attacking trident could make its debut in the starting eleven this Saturday against Alavés. It would be eighteen matches since the last time.’
