The lawyer of a headline member of the summer transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona was spotted at the club’s base on Tuesday.
The player in question? Joan García.
Goalkeeper Joan is of course expected to seal a move to Barcelona any day now.
After being identified as the Blaugrana’s no.1 target to reinforce the ranks between the posts in Hansi Flick’s squad, the 24-year-old has spent the last couple of weeks negotiating the terms of a Camp Nou switch.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the club’s base is anything to go by, the transfer on Tuesday appears to have moved a significant step closer.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘The lawyer representing Joan and his agency (Niagara Sports), Ramón Valencia, arrived at FC Barcelona’s Ciutat Esportiva around 1:30 p.m. This is a sign that the signing is entering its final stretch before the buyout clause is paid.’
