A leading figure on the transfer wishlist of La Liga giants Barcelona is keen on a move to the Blaugrana’s arch rivals.
The player in question? Rodrigo Mora.
The name of youngster Mora has of course emerged as a prominent one in the media headlines across Spain over recent weeks.
This comes, first, after it was revealed that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the 16-year-old’s development.
Recent days, meanwhile, have seen Barcelona credited with a serious interest in Mora, with Deco and co. having gone as far as to make contact with the Mexican’s entourage.
Those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, in turn, will likely be left altogether concerned by a round of comments laid out by one of Mora’s coaches at youth level this week.
Speaking during an interview with ESPN, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, Ignacio Ruvalcaba, coach at Xolos de Tijuana, confirmed that the Mexican international wants nothing more than to link up with Real Madrid:
“He has a dream, which is to play for Real Madrid, but he keeps his feet on the ground. He always watches football and loves watching Real Madrid. He certainly sees himself playing there. I think he has a very focused family; his father has had a very good relationship with him, and I hope we can see him succeeding there. He does see himself playing there in the future; he loves watching European football, and I think he has the quality to be in those leagues.”
