A leading member of the summer transfer wishlist at La Liga champions Barcelona is ready to rebuff all other interest in his signature, to wait it out for a move to Catalunya’s capital.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Marcus Rashford as the player in question.
Frontman Rashford, for his part, is a man in-demand this summer.
In the knowledge that his latest Old Trafford exit is imminent, a whole host of the continent’s top clubs are sniffing around the Englishman’s signature.
Over the last couple of weeks alone, all of Liverpool, Chelsea, Juventus and Bayern Munich are understood to have made their interest known.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then Rashford himself appears to have his sights on one destination and one destination only.
As per a report from Sport:
‘Rashford and his agents are unfazed. The winger wants to choose a destination and has as a total priority to sign for Barcelona this summer. He knows that he is one of the options that the club is considering and prefers to wait.’
