The morning training session held by La Liga giants Barcelona on Sunday revealed some altogether positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Wojciech Szczęsny is back available for selection.
Goalkeeper Szczęsny was for his part a last-minute scratch from Barcelona’s matchday squad to face Osasuna on Saturday.
As much came after the Pole suddenly fell ill, with what was described as a case of Gastroenteritis.
Szczęsny, as a result, was forced to watch on from home as his teammates battled their way to an important 2-0 triumph.
The timing of his sickness was of an unfortunate nature for the former Arsenal man, widely tipped to slot back in between the posts for Barca’s upcoming Copa del Rey clash with Guadalajara on Tuesday.
Hansi Flick and co. were therefore no doubt left relieved by the latest developments at the Ciutat Esportiva earlier today.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘The return of Wojciech Szczesny was the big news from the Blaugrana team’s Sunday training session.’
