La Liga champions Barcelona are expressing an interest in the signature of a member of the midfield ranks at newly-promoted Levante.
That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight Kervin Arriaga as the player in question.
Barcelona have of course been credited with a serious interest in another of Levante’s star performers across the season to date, amid ongoing links with Karl Etta Eyong.
During their ongoing scouting missions for the Cameroonian, though, the profile of midfielder Arriaga has caught the eye.
Hansi Flick, it is claimed, is on the lookout for a different profile of player for his engine room setup in Catalunya’s capital, particularly when taking into account the injury woes of the likes of Gavi and Marc Bernal.
As per Fichajes, Arriaga is therefore considered ‘an excellent market opportunity’ by those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.
A Blaugrana assault on his signature could in turn be forthcoming as soon as the January transfer window.
