Barcelona teammate sends message of support to Raphinha after FIFPRO XI snub

Barcelona star Ronald Araújo has taken to social media, to make clear his bemusement with the absence of teammate Raphinha from the 2025 FIFPRO World XI.

The FIFPRO XI, which aims to recognise the standout players in each position across world football over the prior 12 months, was on Monday officially unveiled.

A pair of Barcelona stars, in Pedri and Lamine Yamal, managed to make the cut.

Left out of the team despite racking up over 60 direct goal contributions last season, though, was the aforementioned Raphinha.

And one individual who was evidently left baffled by as much is the aforementioned Ronald Araújo.

Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, defender Araújo unveiled a photo of Raphinha, alongside an accompanying caption questioning if the Brazilian plays basketball:

This follows Raphinha himself calling into question the voting process for the FIFPRO XI, through a series of social media posts of his own:
