Barcelona & super agent to join forces to keep a close eye on one player

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are ready to join forces with agent Jorge Mendes, to keep a watchful eye on the behaviour of Lamine Yamal.

This comes amid the ongoing fallout from the youngster’s controversial recent comments regarding Real Madrid.

Wide-man Lamine has dominated the headlines in Spain for several days now.

In the buildup to the season’s first edition of El Clásico, the 18-year-old ruffled feathers across Madrid, in suggesting that arch rivals Real are guilty of consistent ‘stealing and complaining’.

These comments culminated in Lamine being afforded a harsh reception at the Bernabéu on Sunday, giving rise to an underwhelming performance on the part of he and his teammates alike.

This is not the first time over recent months that the winger has turned heads with his behaviour away from the pitch.

And with as much in mind, Barcelona, it would appear, are ready to take action.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Barcelona, together with his agent, Jorge Mendes, are going to be very much on top of the footballer to avoid statements like those of last week.’

The plan moving forward is for Lamine to keep his private life private, and controversial opinions to himself, to better allow the Spaniard to focus on matters on the pitch.
