Barcelona summer signing in ‘real’ danger of not being registered

A concerning update surrounding the ongoing registration efforts of those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona has this weekend come to the fore online.

This comes amid confirmation that serious doubts have surfaced regarding whether or not Roony Bardghji will be registered with Hansi Flick’s squad at all.

Youngster Bardghji of course sealed a move to Catalunya’s capital last month, from FC Copenhagen.

As much came after Deco and co. agreed to fork over a minimal fee, ahead of the upcoming expiration of the 19-year-old’s contract.

As of this moment, however, Bardghji is not eligible to take to the pitch for Barcelona at senior level.

Not only that, but the Swede sits behind the likes of Wojciech Szczęsny and Gerard Martín when it comes to the Blaugrana’s registration priorities.

And according to Diario Sport, this situation could yet culminate in Bardghji not being registered with La Liga at all for 2025/26:

‘The club’s intention is for him to continue, but it will not be an easy mission during the 10 days left until the market closes, and which will be a real race against the clock for the offices of the Barça club.’
