Barcelona star Ferran Torres has seen a nickname previously bestowed upon him by sections of the club’s fanbase return on Saturday.
This comes after the attacker proved himself the star of the show in the opening exchanges of Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Real Betis.
After making the trip to La Cartuja, Hansi Flick’s troops actually found themselves behind inside the opening five minutes.
From here, though, it was the Ferran show…
After first levelling things up with a quickfire equaliser, the Spanish international was back on target just minutes later, courtesy of a fine volleyed finish.
And in the aftermath of the latter, Ferran’s fond nickname returned.
Likening the 25-year-old to teammate and attacking partner Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona’s supporters have labelled Ferran ‘Ferrandowski’
*Update* – Barcelona have since further added to their advantage in Seville, courtesy of a brilliant finish on the part of youngster Roony Bardghji.
