A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona will on Monday see his new contract terms with the club made official.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, who points towards Marc Bernal as the player in question.
Youngster Bernal is for his part of course fresh off marking his long-awaited return to the pitch.
After a full 12 months on the sidelines with an ACL tear, the 18-year-old has spent recent weeks reestablishing himself in the squad of Barca boss Hansi Flick.
Bernal is considered by all behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital as a long-term Blaugrana star in the making, boasting the necessary traits to act as a midfield mainstay for years to come.
And as alluded to above, such talents look set to be imminently recognised by the brass at the Camp Nou.
As per a report from journalist Gerard Romero of Jijantes:
‘Tomorrow at 13.15h (will be) Marc Bernal’s renewal ceremony at the club.’
