Statisticians WhoScored have today unveiled their Team of the Month for La Liga.
And it should come as little surprise to hear that one club – in Barcelona – boast more representatives than any other side.
Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off a stellar opening to the campaign.
All told, across four outings in Spain’s top-flight to date, the Blaugrana have racked up four wins, sitting pretty atop the table as a result.
Most recently, on Saturday, the Catalans ran riot against Real Valladolid, a Raphinha hat-trick the highlight of an eventual 7-0 triumph.
Such exploits see the Brazilian named as one of four Barca stars in WhoScored’s XI, alongside the trio of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and summer signing Dani Olmo.
Elsewhere in the line-up, Real Madrid and Las Palmas boast a pair of inclusions each, Éder Militão and Federico Valverde from the former, and Jasper Cillessen and Oli McBurnie from the latter.
Rounding out the team, meanwhile, are Marcos Llorente of Atlético Madrid, Real Betis’ Marc Bartra, and Celta Vigo standout Óscar Mingueza.
