Barcelona star’s agent admits to uncertain future at the club

The representative of Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has admitted that his client’s future beyond next summer remains completely unclear at present.

The name of frontman Lewandowski has of course emerged as a prominent one in the media chatter in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.

This comes after a string of reports were forthcoming, assuring that the Barcelona brass have made the call not to offer the 37-year-old a new contract.

Lewandowski, in turn, looks set to depart the Camp Nou as a free agent next summer.

Speaking to 365scores Arabic, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, Pini Zahavi, the former Bayern Munich’s man agent, was on Monday therefore drawn on the latest chatter surrounding his client.

And Zahavi went on to admit:

Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2026, and there are no decisions regarding that at the moment. We have to wait and see what happens in the coming days.”

The Israeli agent continued:

“There is nothing official regarding negotiations with Saudi clubs. There are no offers at the moment.”
