A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona is attracting strong transfer interest by way of the Premier League.
The Blaugrana star in question? Alejandro Balde.
Chatter surrounding the future of left-back Balde has begun to mount across Spain over recent weeks.
This comes amid suggestions that, in the case of a significant offer arriving for his signature this summer, Barcelona could be open to a sale.
And such speculation, it would appear, has begun to turn heads in the top flight of English football…
As per a report from journalist Ferran Martinez of Mundo Deportivo:
‘Three Premier League teams are asking about Balde: Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa.’
Significantly, it is also noted that the talented full-back himself has no plans to depart Catalunya’s capital at present.
The Camp Nou brass, meanwhile, do not consider Balde as being on the market, but a ‘very important’ bid could change the situation.
