Barcelona star Raphinha is expected to slot back into the club’s starting XI for their upcoming showdown with Paris Saint-Germain. This comes with the Brazilian now considered to be back to full match sharpness.
Frontman Raphinha marked his return to the pitch for the first time since the international break this past weekend.
After picking up a muscular problem whilst with Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad last month, the former Leeds United man was introduced off the bench en route to a 5-2 La Liga victory over Real Betis on Saturday.
In his absence, centre-forward duties in Barca’s XI had been shared by Gabriel Jesus and Dani Olmo.
Speaking to the media ahead of his side’s most high-profile outing of the season to date on Tuesday, Hansi Flick was therefore drawn on whether or not Raphinha is ready to take his starting berth back.
And Barca’s headmaster went on to confirm:
“Raphinha has recovered; he’s ready to go and start tomorrow.”
