Barcelona star Marc Bernal will be given permission to play his part in an upcoming training match with the club’s reserve team.
This of course comes amid the youngster’s ongoing efforts to recover full fitness.
As per a report from Jijantes:
‘Marc Bernal will play a training match with Barça Atlètic to keep building up his match fitness.’
Bernal was for his part afforded his latest cameo appearance off the bench this past weekend.
En route to Barcelona’s 4-2 La Liga victory over Celta Vigo, the 18-year-old was introduced for the game’s final minutes.
This means, all told, Bernal has taken to the pitch five times this season, thrice in La Liga, and twice in the Champions League.
Considered a future midfield star in the making, Barcelona are understandably not willing to take any risks with their Spanish starlet, amid the long road to recovery from an ACL rupture.
