A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona is expected to be dropped to the bench for the club’s next outing.
That’s according to Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who points towards Frenkie de Jong as the player in question.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action later this evening.
Turning focus back towards matters on the domestic front, Hansi Flick’s troops will play host to Getafe, in a La Liga clash.
Rotation is expected throughout Barca’s XI, amid something of a hectic fixture schedule at present.
And one such change, as alluded to above, is predicted at the base of midfield.
As per a report from AS, after the Dutchman marked his return from injury with a splendid performance against Newcastle United in midweek, Frenkie de Jong will be afforded a fresh break by way of a return to the bench.
Stepping in in place of the former Ajax man, meanwhile, will be Marc Casadó.
