Barcelona star Jules Koundé has this week forwarded a message of congratulations to Bryan Mbeumo.
This comes after the latter”s long-speculated move to Manchester United was finally made official.
Following a standout campaign on the books of Brentford in 2024/25, frontman Mbeumo had long been earmarked as a leading transfer target on the part of the Old Trafford brass.
Negotiations with their Brentford counterparts over a potential summer deal had in turn long been kicked into gear by Manchester United.
And on Monday, as much finally culminated in Mbeumo being unveiled as the latest addition to Ruben Amorim’s squad:
Messages of support and congratulations have since come pouring in for the talented attacker, from across the world of football.
And as alluded to above, adding his name to this list of well wishers on Tuesday was a member of the defensive ranks at none other than Barcelona.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Jules Koundé reposted an image of Mbeumo putting pen to paper on his Man United contract, accompanied by the caption:
