Barcelona star Fermín López has sent a direct message to the club’s fanbase, regarding his future.
This, of course, comes amid ongoing speculation linking the 22-year-old with a departure from Catalunya’s capital.
Midfielder Fermín for his part played a starring role for Barcelona on Sunday night, in the latest edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy.
En route to a 5-0 drubbing of Serie A outfit Como, the Spanish international notched a first-half brace, to provide a fresh reminder of his stellar talents in and around the penalty area.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle yesterday evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the transfer rumours surrounding his name were quickly put to Fermín himself.
And the youngster made use of the opportunity to send a message of absolute assurance to the Blaugrana faithful:
“Barcelona fans should rest, because I will stay here… I will not leave Barça.”
