Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has this week seen his efforts over the course of the 2024/25 campaign recognised once more.
This comes by way of an individual accolade, handed out on an annual basis by Spanish outlet Marca.
Wide-man Lamine is for his part of course fresh off a spectacular individual season in Catalunya’s capital.
En route to Barcelona securing a domestic treble, the 18-year-old lit up the Blaugrana’s right flank, courtesy of a remarkable combination of touch, dribbling, flair and final ball.
Not only that, but Lamine also took his production in the final third to new heights, on his way to 43 direct goal contributions across all competitions.
And as alluded to above, this week, such efforts have culminated in the Spanish international adding to his silverware cabinet.
As confirmed in a report released by Marca, Lamine has beaten out competition from the likes of Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha, to lift the outlet’s prestigious ‘Los 100’ award:
‘There was no room for doubt after a vote by a 133-member international jury, including Marca journalists, journalists from all media outlets in Spain and around the world, and former footballers and coaches.’
Lamine joins the likes of Erling Haaland and Karim Benzema as previous winners of the prize.
