La Liga giants Barcelona have been afforded some welcome positive news on the personnel front on Friday.
This comes amid confirmation that Gerard Martín has returned to training alongside the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.
Stopper Martín sparked concern in Catalunya’s capital over the last 48 hours.
As much came after the Spaniard, who has played an increasingly prominent role for Barcelona over recent weeks, was a notable absentee from group training.
After featuring from the off in Barcelona’s Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday, Martín was advised against taking to the grass at the Ciutat Esportiva.
His fitness problem, however, evidently proved to be a minor one.
As per a report from Blaugrana insider Carlos Monfort of Diario Sport, on Friday:
‘Gerard Martín has just entered the Ciutat Esportiva at this very moment. Fully recovered from his indisposition, he will be included in the squad to play tomorrow against Osasuna.’
